1/6 roombox

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. Being a true Gemini, I have been working on multiple projects at the same time. Here is one of the project I have been working on. I have always wanted to have a dollhouse, but I have never thought I could create it myself. Okay, so this is not a dollhouse, but a 1:6 scale roombox. It turned out pretty good. Hope you will enjoy.

I love the dog bed!

NEW miniature hawker food stand

Hello, how is everybody doing? I haven't post anything in awhile because I have been busy working on this miniature food stand and some other mini projects. I just love food stands/ stalls. I have never eaten at one of them but I just think there are something unique about them. This my second hawker food stand. The first one I bought the cart and the display case, but this one everything is handmade by me from scratch. This is the chicken congee ( chao ga) food stand. I know if you are Asian you are probably very familiar with this hawker food stand.

I hope you will enjoy!!

My DIY miniatures

Hello, happy Friday everybody! I have been taken a break from my miniature food creations and have been working on some miniature supplies. I wanted to try my hand on a different medium, something other than polymer clay. But the true is that I need supplies for my miniature foods, but I didn't want to buy them. Here are some projects I did using wood.

Here is my little toaster, it came out pretty nice!

Miniature aged wooden crate

Miniature bento boxes

But I didn't forget my miniature food. Here are some miniature chip bags.

I hope you will enjoy!

Miniature Thai food

Happy Sunday everybody! I hope everybody had a good weekend! Today I'm back to share with you another collection from the Miniature series, Food From Around the World. We are taking a trip to Thailand today. I love thai food, especially som tam (green papaya salad)! My mom grew up in Thailand eating sticky rice with fried chicken and som tam practically every day. Those are some the foods that she remembers the most from her childhood, and had shared with us. So today I would like to share with you a mini version of sticky rice with chicken dishes and som tam. I hope you will enjoy it. This is my favorite collection from the series so far.

I would love to hear from you, so if you have a food to share with me, please do not hesitate to add your comment below or join me on Facebook @ Facebook.com/erinminiatures.

Thank you for reading!

Miniature supply

Many people have asked me where I get some of the accessories that I use in my miniature foods. Well, while I usually handmade everything that I could, I find that sometimes using a ceramic plate or stainless steel spoon is necessary to complete the project. So, where do I get those cute miniature things? You could do a search on eBay and you'll would probably find a ton of sellers/shops selling miniature supply, but here are few places that I alway go to when I shop for miniature supplies.

If you are in the states and doesn't want to wait too long to get your stuffs then you might want to visit kawaii Supply (http://www.kawaiisupply.com. They have some nice silverwares that could be made into charm and also some very nice display cases. Here are some of the stuffs I really like from their shop.

Here are some other international shops that I really love:
They have a lots of nice stuffs, but the shipping time take much longer.

They have food carts/stalks that I was not able to find anywhere else.

They have a lot of cute stuffs. They are located in china, but their shipping is quite fast!

Hope you find these info useful :)
