Something Sweet!

I have been busy working on a large project and I can't wait to share it with all of you when I'm done. I just have been so busy with work and everything else that I'm feeling a little stressed out. They say that having a little sweet can make you feel happy. What do you think? I'm not a be fan of sweet stuffs, but today I feel like having something sweet. Well you might not be able to eat these, but these are some moon cakes I did when I first started doing miniature food. Hope you will enjoy them. I didn't use any molds for them, but they turned out ok.

Miniature handbags

My passion is in making miniature food, but also enjoy trying to make other miniature items.
I'm a sucker for designer handbags and shoes, but I can't always afford them. Today I'm going to share with you some Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbags I made.

Fruits and vegetables

Here are two sets of fruit and vegetable I did for my mom. She love fruit and vegetable! I really like how the mushrooms turned out. Both sets are very small, smaller than the size of the palm of my hand.

Miniature food charms

Here is another quick post to share with you some of my miniature food charms I made to sell locally at my sister salon. If any of you are interested, please contact me at chesky7@gmail.com to order. Thank you and see you soon!

I'm addicted!

Making miniature food is so addicting! There just something that feel so good about taking everyday foods and remake them into little creations of art. And the more realistic you could make them, the more satisfaction you will get. To me It's also very therapeutic. So if anyone is looking for a healthy addiction ,try doing polymer clay food!

I'm still trying to improve my skills everyday. Thank you all for reading! Here are some more pictures that I hope you will enjoy.

1. Miniature hot pot
2. Tom yum pot and little soy sauce bottle. I love the little bottle. It's just too cute.
3. Fish pot with rice

Korean Food!

Kimchi, kimchi! Who doesn't love a little spicy food. You know they say that eating spicy food are good for weight loss, heart health, cancer prevention, and lowering blood pressure. I don't know how true any of those are, but I just know that it's certainly delicious to eat! It will make any bland food more palatable.

Today I'm going to share with you some of my Korean miniature foods!

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to my blog!
This is my first time blogging and I' m really excited! So let me begin with a 3 pages essay that tell you all about me. Just kidding! I'm not going to write an essay now or will I ever write anything like that on this blog. The true is I'm not I very good writer. My purpose for this blog is to share with you some of my pictures of my new found hobby.

I'm an artist/design and have great love for art and design. I love using my hand to make beautiful things. I also love to collect re-ment miniature. I think you could take anything, turned it into miniature and it will become cute.

While searching for re-ment miniature a couple of months ago, I came across this miniature polymer clay foods blog ( sorry I don't remember who the blog belong to). I was so inspired by it and started making my own.

These were the first couple of foods I did. They were not as good, but it was my first time.

I will upload some of my more recent works in the next post!
